1967 Born in İstanbul

1986-1989 Studied Business Administration at Istanbul University, Turkey for one year and earned bachelor’s degree in BA- Human Resource Management from New Hampshire College, U.S.A.
Took drawing and ceramic classes at Manchester Institute of Art&Technology, started transandantal meditation and practiced shotokan karate.

1989-1991 Master of Arts in Communications, Boston University, U.S.A.
Submitted master’s thesis entitled “The Image of Turks and Turkey in the United States”.
Took ceramic classes at Newbury Art College, studied reflexology, explored zen meditation, practiced yoga and aikido.

1992-2002 Studied sculpture and worked in studio.
Participated in exhibitions. Vakko Beyoğlu Art Gallery (1996). Pi Artworks-Ortaköy Art Gallery (2002). Tema Vakfı(an organization to help protect nature)in Ataköy Yunus Emre Culture Center(2002). Tema Vakfı-Maçka Antik Palas (2003), Artİstanbul International Contemporary Art Days/Antrepo- Gallery Selvin(2006).

1996-2008 Practiced Spiritual Human Yoga 20 levels.

1999-2003 Studied Philosophy at Boğaziçi University-Istanbul.
Submitted master’s thesis entitled
“The Role of Self Observation in Krishnamurti’s Understanding of Freedom”.

2000-2002 Studied and practiced
“Expressive Art Therapy” which combines working with storytelling, psychodrama, plastic arts, body movements, masks to help a person express their emotions and thoughts through different art forms.

2000-2022 Worked with a chinese medicine doctor taoist kungfu master -reflexology, point and meridien therapy, t’ai chi chuen, c’hi kung, tao yoga.

Attended E.F.T- Emotional Freedom Technique, studied Gestalt therapy module A-B, Gestalt Group Leadership work, practiced kundalini yoga, studied healing with shamanic energy module 1-2, continued work in reflexology and earned a certificate at Ingham International Institude of Reflexology.
Learned ayurvedic massage training and obtained certification to work as a body worker.

2003-2007 Worked in reflexology and bodywork sessions for rebalancing physical, emotional and mental states.

2006 Published a book “Observer is the Observed?, which is an investigation,
an inquiry of Self through sculpture and philosophy inspired by the ideas explored in master’s thesis “…Krishnamurti’s Understanding of Freedom”.
The book came about for an exhibition, “Bağlantı / Connection”
Artİstanbul 2006, Antrepo.

2007-2017 Started the integration process, exploring conscioussness in deeper levels. Experimenting silence and movements working together.

2018-2019 Attended script writing class and wrote a short scenario project named “Both”*
Co-produced Kaan Müjdeci’s film “Iguana Tokyo”.

2020-2021 Started the work in progress project “Today”,
a diary combining intuitive drawings of moments, news, happenings and feelings during the pandemic.

Short film scenario project

Synopsis:
A story about a person who has both sexes in one body(hermaphrodite)who wants to end her/his life due to a sickness and wants to be cremated.
As both is illegal, friends try to find other ways to honor her/his wishes. Since by law s/he must choose a gender preference , s/he was given a pink pasaport reserved for women. This creates awkward situations during the funeral procedures.
